Storage/Freezing

To ensure your cakes and cupcakes stay as fresh and beautiful as when they leave our bakery, follow these simple care instructions:


  1. Handle with Care: Always carry the box from the bottom to avoid damaging the contents.
  2. Keep Level: Ensure the cake remains level at all times during transport.
  3. Cool Storage: Store your cakes in a cool place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  4. Transport Safely: When transporting, use an air-conditioned vehicle to maintain the optimal temperature.
  5. Room Temperature Storage: For short-term storage, keep cakes and cupcakes in an airtight container at room temperature.  DO NOT REFRIGERATE!  THIS WILL DRY CUPCAKES OUT SIGNIFICANTLY!  Cakes can be refrigerated, if preferred.
  6. Freshness Limit: Dispose of cakes and cupcakes after 48 hours to ensure quality and safety.
  7. Freezing Instructions: To freeze, first wrap cake/cupcake box in clingfilm followed by aluminum foil.  Place in freezer and freeze for up to three (3) months.  
  8. Thawing Instructions:  To thaw cupcakes, unwrap aluminum foil, leaving the clingfilm and leave on counter at room temperature for approximately 2 hours.  They are ready to enjoy when the cake is soft and the buttercream is no longer cold to the touch.  To thaw cake, unwrap aluminum foil, leaving the clingfilm and place in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours (overnight is best).  Then leave on counter at room temperature for at least 4 hours before cutting.
